Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Shishi mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Shishi ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Shishi. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tryshishi.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not create more than one account, impersonate another person, or use the Service for any illegal purpose.

The Service

Shishi allows groups of users to discover activities they collectively want to do. Core features include:

• Creating and sharing activity proposals within groups
• Swiping on activities to express interest
• Group matching when enough members swipe right on the same activity
• Scheduling and booking matched activities
• In-app messaging with your matched group

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post (activity descriptions, photos, videos, messages). By posting content, you grant Shishi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and deliver that content as necessary to operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for your content. You agree not to post content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, or harassing
• Infringes on any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights
• Contains spam, malware, or deceptive material
• Depicts minors in a harmful or inappropriate manner

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

Payments and Bookings

Some activities on Shishi may require payment to book. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a payment, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

Refunds for cancelled bookings are handled as follows: bookings cancelled before the activity date are refunded in full to the original payment method. We do not guarantee refunds for no-shows or late cancellations.

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm other users
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service
• Use automated tools or bots to access the Service
• Circumvent any security or access controls
• Use the Service for commercial solicitation without our written consent

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting support@tryshishi.com. Upon deletion, your profile, activities, and messages will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or behavior that harms other users or the Service. Where possible, we will notify you before termination.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any activities discovered through Shishi will meet your expectations. Participation in any activity is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shishi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages related to activities booked through the app.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
